Important to be well prepared for you tattoo appointment:
The big day arrived! You are preparing yourself to have that so desired piece of tattoo art and healthy nerves are starting to surface. Maybe you have done this before, or maybe this will be your first tattoo. Is it a first time or have you done this before, there are a few things you need to keep in mind before starting your tattoo session.
1. Dress appropriately.
You’re going to be sitting still for an extended period of time. Consider wearing loose, comfortable clothing.
2. Eat first.
Like we mentioned, you are going to be sitting for a certain period of time. It’s highly recommended that you eat before you come in for your tattoo.
Be prepared this day will take up to a few hours or longer. You can’t rush perfection.
4. What if you cannot come:
If you are sick or something unexpected avoids you to come or be on time, do call and let us know instead of just not showing up. We do require a 48-hour advance notice, but we can discuss with you as unexpected things can happen.
5. No alcohol & no drugs.
It is best to have no heavy outgoings the day or night prior to your appointment as it can cause you to bleed more or feel unwell during the session. We like to keep this as painless and bloodless as possible. Excessive bleeding due to alcohol in the system can prevent the ink from staying in the skin.
6. The “to be tattooed body part”:
Some areas have to be shaved before being tattooed, let us take care of it for you. If you cut yourself, we can’t tattoo the area.
7. Clear your mind.
Getting tattoos, especially for first-timers, can be a little stressful. Make sure you are 100% ready – both emotionally and physically. Remember, Tattoos are permanent, please make sure you are ready for that lifelong commitment.
Any question you have please ask, we love to notice that clients are invested! Also, make sure you inform us of any health concerns or medication you might take.
